FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How soon should I hire a videographer?

Depending on the month you are getting married in, it's recommended to book your videographer at least 6-8 months before your wedding day. However, I've had couples book me the month of their wedding and others that booked a year in advance. Don't hesitate to connect with me!

Can we pick our own music?

Unfortunately not. Legally, I have to license my music through specific sites and mainstream music is usually not available to license. Also, choosing music is a huge part of my creative process. It is inspired by the two of you as a couple as well as the vibe of your wedding day. Music truly brings the film together. So, long story short- no. But I would love to hear the types of music you're drawn to!

Do you travel?

Absolutely! I'm based in central Ohio but love to travel!

Do you have insurance?

Yes! If your venue requires proof of insurance, just let me know and I can provide my certificate of coverage.

How do you protect your videos?

I use dual memory card slot cameras, so videos are immediately backed up. After a wedding, I back up all videos in multiple places. Your wedding day is priceless and keeping those memories preserved is my top priority.

Do I have to choose a collection when I book?

Not at all! If you're still deciding on which collection is best for you but want to secure your date, I would recommend booking The Classic. You may upgrade your collection and add additional services at any point before your wedding day.

How soon will I get my film?

You will receive your online video album within 12 weeks of your wedding day.

What else should I know about wedding videography?

The biggest regret from wedding couples today is that they didn't hire a videographer. You simply can’t be everywhere at once and see everything that’s happening. It goes by in a flash. After your wedding day is over, the food and cake is eaten, the flowers die. What remains (besides your marriage obviously), are the photos and videos.

The major difference between photo and video is AUDIO and movement. You can look back on your beautiful wedding pictures but they don’t tell the whole story. With video and audio, you can actually hear the vows you said to your partner, hear the speeches your loved ones gave, and hear the crowd cheer as you kiss for the first time as a married couple. Video is powerful. Your wedding video will outlive you. This is something you can show your grandkids someday- an heirloom.

I'm ready to book! Now what?

I'm beyond excited to work with you! Please fill out the form below so I can get all of your information. We'll jump on a quick phone call/FaceTime (or meet up if you're near Columbus) and talk about your wedding! In order to reserve your date, I require a $1000 retainer and a signed contract.
